Success Story A Tucor two-wire system recently helped the Rehabilitation Institute of Nevada (RIN), a medical rehabilitation center in Las Vegas, solve its water management problems, even in an area with some of the most stringent water restrictions. With its smart controllers and two-wire design, the Tucor system saved the developer more than $100,000 before the system was even operational.

Less Wire, More BenefitsThe 160-acre RIN site uses two Tucor controllers, managing all of the valves needed for the site. Installing the Tucor controllers instead of a standard irrigation control system saved the developer money, time and wire because fewer valves were needed.

Save More than WaterIn addition to using less wire, installation of the Tucor system requires only one person, greatly reducing labor costs. The system can also run 10 valves simultaneously, compressing the run time of the entire system, providing maximum pump efficiency, limiting hours of operation and reducing utility costs for a system operating in severe water restrictions.

Reliability and FlexibilityTucor’s controllers effectively manage RIN’s needs, while providing the flexibility of adding additional areas should the center need to grow.
